La verdad pense que el desenlace iba a desencadenar una solucion concreta como siempre, pero la verdad no me molesta como enfocaron el final。

Resolution was too quick and tidy in every way, but this was still entertaining。

A great end to the mini series。 I loved all the Toph content, and was glad to see some new Spirit world content, too。

3。5 stars? I hated Toph in this series, she was way out-of-line when she disrespected the Air Nomad Culture。

Not too bad。 I think this is my least favorite book overall so far。 What’s up with Katara she was kick ass in the show and now she’s kind of meh。 MVP: The Cabbage Seller (“My cabbages!)

I really enjoyed reading these comics, I do admit however that they might have been a little slower than the previous ones regarding the story。 Nevertheless, they are still a great read and they portray a different character dynamic to the one we have already been exposed to。 We get to see a little bit about those who Katara and Sokka left behind, see the Beifong legacy, and also Aang trying to preserve traditions in a world that could not be moving faster into the future。 It was also very inter I really enjoyed reading these comics, I do admit however that they might have been a little slower than the previous ones regarding the story。 Nevertheless, they are still a great read and they portray a different character dynamic to the one we have already been exposed to。 We get to see a little bit about those who Katara and Sokka left behind, see the Beifong legacy, and also Aang trying to preserve traditions in a world that could not be moving faster into the future。 It was also very interesting to see the interaction between Toph and Aang during the story。 One would often believe that Toph is the headstrong one while Aang is more peaceful and flexible, after all they sort of explained that it had to do with the element they bend once or twice on the show, but here we can see how Aang is headstrong when it comes to traditions。 I think this is particularly interesting as Aang wants to help the world move past the 100 year war, but at the same time he wants it to be just like it was before the war started。 He kinds of wishes for a better future that remains stuck in the past。 I believe Gene Luen Yang made a great job at showing us that through these comics, including The Promise ones, specially having in mind that they set the background for the world in LoK。 。。。more

yay for toph telling her dad how things are & saving everyone (sigh men are annoying) but also toph & aang are annoying with their conflict on past & future oof the iron spirit man was probably jealous that his lady spirit friend settled down with a human hence more of his dislike for humans。。。 her closing words though tied everything together that there is hope for all to live together!

Come on, every time, every time。Ugggh。 This one is the best one。 Again。 This always happens。。。Toph has some amazing moments in here, as does Sokka。 Oh, I love them both so much。 The cabbage seller was a fantastic inclusion, and I loved this insight into the spirit world。 I also liked the other Southern Water Tribe people - it gave some good stuff with Katara and Sokka。 This volume was great。 5/5 stars。

A good conclusion to the arc。 I was very happy to see Aang reunite with Roku, as well as to see him slowly adapting more to the world changing around him - I think the comics do a good job of showing Aang continue to grow up and experience the world in a more nuanced way。 Also, it was cool to see Toph be such a badass and demand respect from her father。 Love that energy。I hope we get to see more of Satoru in the future comics! Throughout The Rift, I very much enjoyed the complex (for this age group) discussions about tradition and the changing world。 It all came to a head in Part 3 in ways that I truly did not expect。 I also like how The Rift explored a different side to the integration of the nations—a side that didn't turn out so well。 Throughout The Rift, I very much enjoyed the complex (for this age group) discussions about tradition and the changing world。 It all came to a head in Part 3 in ways that I truly did not expect。 I also like how The Rift explored a different side to the integration of the nations—a side that didn't turn out so well。 。。。more
